A Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ) is completed by the employee and is intended to provide a complete description of your current assigned duties. It is a tool for collecting meaningful information about the specific characteristics of a single position. The PDQ describes duties, responsibilities, supervisory relationships, and other details of a position.
In the event that an employee was unable to attend one of the employee sessions, Gallagher prepared a separate in-depth recording on how the PDQ should be completed, which can be accessed here.
For employees in the classifications listed below only, pre-populated PDQ’s have been prepared as an option for you to complete if you prefer; it is the same format as the other PDQ’s but Sections 7 (Description of Your Work Duties) and 14 (Knowledge and Abilities) have information already placed in them from the current classification specification. You can, of course, use the standard PDQ, hyperlinked above, if you prefer to do so.
