Due to a steep increase in successful phishing attacks against Imperial County employees, we have once again revised spam filter policies for our Exchange Online environment (Cloud Email for Imperial County). We have made things significantly stricter, so much so that the filter is going to have in increase of false positives. False positives are when the system accidently flags legitimate emails as spam/phishing. In order to assist everyone with identifying when that does occur, ITS has enabled Exchange Online Spam Notifications. Depending on how much spam you receive, you might get this notification up to a daily interval. The spam notification detail and how to work with it is all described below.
