2026 Point in Time Count

Once a year, the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count provides a critical opportunity to better understand the needs of our unsheltered community and helps guide future funding, resources, and coordinated services throughout Imperial County.

To support this important effort, the Imperial Valley Continuum of Care Council (IVCCC) welcomes and encourages County employee participation. With Department Head approval, County employees may volunteer during County time while receiving normal compensation. Time volunteered will be considered regular hours worked and may count toward overtime eligibility, if applicable.
